Certified Organic Maroochy Nut, also known as Queensland Nut Tree or Macadamia, is an Australian Indigenous plant that is exceptionally high in the rare Omega - 7. Sometimes called the 'Beauty Omega' and found also in Sea Buckthorne Oil, Omega - 7 increases the synthesis of elastin and collagen, proteins that keep skin strong and healthy, and reduces the onset of wrinkles. Maroochy Nut helps to restore the skin's natural omega balance, protecting skin cells and supporting cellular health.

Maroochy Nut also contains high amounts of squalene and oleic acid that assist with cell regeneration. Squalene, with an 'e', (not to be confused with the synthesised Squalane with an 'a'), is naturally produced by the body with the sole purpose of keeping skin moisturised - and macadamias are full of it!

Additionally, Maroochy Nuts contain potent phytosterols that provide skin protection and repair, as well as useful amounts of manganese, which is an antioxidant and essential mineral required for collagen production.

The fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties that are helpful for all skins, including acne-prone skins.

Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) oil, like is Indian cousin, is highly prized in skin care. Rich in Omega 3, 6, 9, and the rare ximenynic acid. Ximenynic Acid has a significant impact on the skin aging process as it increases microcirculation, reduces enlarged pores and improves distension and discoloration of the skin.

Australian Blue Cypress Oil is one of only four blue oils world-wide. This Australian blue oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-pyretic, anti-allergenic and anti-viral benefits that help restore, refresh and protect delicate skin.

Although Maroochy Nut it is a rich oil, it is very light with a low comedogenic rating.

DIRECTIONS

Gently massage in circular motions onto dry skin using fingertips. Rinse well with lukewarm water or wipe off with damp, warm muslin face cloth. To remove mascara and eye make-up, place a small amount on a damp cotton pad and press onto eye, hold for an extended moment, and gently wipe clean.

Pair with Purslane and Commelina Gentle Balancing Toner.

Suitable for all skin types including dry and sensitive skin and acne-prone and oily skin.

If using as a body cleansing oil, massage into skin outside the shower and rinse clean in the shower. Leaves skin feeling lusciously cleansed and hydrated.
